Kevin John - Publisher and company owner

Kevin founded 5th element publications in 1999 to bring into being his vision for a magazine that focused on the importance of design in the kitchen and bathroom, and that targeted readers as designers regardless of their profession.
Cindy John - Advertisement Director

Cindy joined 5th element soon after its launch, and has been responsible for managing the advertising sales team that has been an essential part of the company's steady growth over the last 5 years.
Yvette Reiman - Senior Sales Executive

Yvette joined 5th element in 2001, and has been at the heart of the UK magazines successful growth in the last 3 years. Yvette is the heart of the 5th element team, and has a real passion for the magazine and our customers.
Martin Allen-Smith - Editor

Martin joined the team in September 2006, and has the task of continually delivering a magazine that can inspire the creative readers who are the core audience for The Designer. In addition to managing editorial content on the The Designer, Martin has direct control of the Design Awards.
Jeff Cooper - Art Director

Jeff joined The Designer following extensive experience as Art Director of one of the UK's leading regional consumer magazine publishers, and is now driving the creative output of the company as a whole.
Stacey Sheppard - Production executive

Stacey controls all aspects of production for the company, including both magazines and web site. However, as the only language expert in the business, she is also driving International communication efforts.

The most important person in kevin's life, Wendy runs the Dartmouth office, managing everything from subscriptions to reader enquiries. Wendy's most challenging role is making sure that Kevin knows where he is (literally) every day.
