As part of a class assignment Logi Hrafn Kristjánsson was set the task of designing a bathroom basin. Whereas many of his fellow classmates chose to use newer more versatile materials for their designs such as Corian, Logi decided to stick to the more traditional option of ceramic, but to instead employ a modern and sleek design.
Inspired by the many waterfalls of his native country Iceland, the basic form of the Snorri sink is a simple basin with cut out edges. The upper surface of the basin is formed in such a way that any water that leaks onto it will in fact run back into the basin. Snorri was obviously not designed to cope with heavy water usage but constitutes an elegant basin nonetheless.
