A novel way to charge your iphone
Apple's Internet-connected, multi-media, smartphone has become something of a must have accessory for anybody who needs to be connected at all times. However, Apple isn't the only organisation cashing in on the gadget's success. The iPhone has also become a cash cow for application and product developers who are making money by creating cool accessories to be used with the iPhone.
IYO YOYO is the brainchild of Swedish designer Peter Thuvander who was unimpressed by how long the battery of his iPhone lasted before needing a recharge. The fact that solar chargers are useless at night - and in the Swedish winter - prompted Thuvander to come up with his own innovative solution. Rather than employing a standard handle which needed to be cranked, Thuvander used the idea of a yoyo to make charging not only easier but a lot more fun.
